11434 Tour 1; Letter of Warning for attendance dated, October 2011 shall expire on July 28, 2012;

11379 & 12029 Tour 1; 7 Day Suspension (9.27.2011) and 14 Day Suspension (12.29.2011) shall expire on September 27, 2012;

11479 Tour 3; Letter of Warning dated, 11.21.2011 has been rescinded.

12188 Tour 3; Letter of Warning (4.2012) has been modified to a discussion.

11092 All Tours: Management will provide a safe working environment for all employees and ensure that the work place is free of potential hazards.

10493 All Tours: PS Form 1767 (report of hazard, unsafe condition or practice) particularly “giving the employee a copy signed by the supervisor as a receipt” within the employees tour of duty. Section 824.632 handbook Employee and Labor Relations Manual shall apply.

10488 Tour 3: Management shall give applicable (four) mail handlers a .30 minute make-up of overtime within 60 days and by mutual consent.

11103 All Tours: A Service Talk shall be re-issued regarding the “standard operating procedure” in regards to all platforms. Highlights of the (service talk - sop) it that; 1. mail handlers do not open bay or truck doors, 2. Mail handlers do not operate deck plate, 3. Mail handlers are prohibited and can refuse to enter a truck without the truck key or safe to enter sign posted.

11040 Tour 1: Grievant shall be re-credited with 24 hours of annual leave; Grievant used annual leave to cover the first 3-days of her injury. Once the employee exceeded the 2-week period, the employee is entitled to continuation of pay for the days used by the annual leave.

11039 Tour 1: Grievant shall be re-credited with 17.52 hours of sick leave; Grievant used sick leave to cover the first 3-days of her injury. Once the employee exceeded the 2-week period, the employee is entitled to continuation of pay for the days used by the sick leave.

10500 All Tours: Management shall issue a service talk – standard operating procedures regarding suspicious mail. Line floor management has taken short-cuts and has not followed proper procedures when suspicious mail is found.

12208 Tour 3: 7-Day Suspension dated, May 2, 2012 shall be fully rescinded; union found defects in the notice which required rescinding.

12218 Tour 3; Letter of Warning for attendance dated, May 3, 2012 shall expire within 8 months from date of issuance.

This union was informed on several occasions of previous (involuntarily reassigned) excessed clerks from the Bronx who became mail handlers and who were assigned to Mid Island are receiving retreat rights back to their former craft and/or installation. This union was also informed that the remaining four (4) mail handlers/clerks will be given a vacancy bid sheet (accompany the Bronx listing will be information or explanations concerning the vacancy and retreat rights), however (at this time future vacancy date is presently unknown).

These four employees will select such positions by preference order and such sections shall be considered as their request to invoke their retreat rights. I believe their salary will remain the same and their seniority shall be established previously to their reassignment. For any of the four employees who do not bid or request to invoke their retreat rights they will remain in their current full-time position and bid assignment, the only change will be that they will give up their saved grade and be re-established to a level 4; salary will be within the level 4 pay scale comparable to their present wage..
