18522-19051880; Please find a nice award on zero tolerance; in this issue an acting manager struck an employee in the shoulder, the Union argued that the strike was deliberate and violated the Service’s policy on Zero Tolerance. The arbitrator awarded the following;
The Manager violated the Joint Statement on Violence when on 11.4.2018 he made shoulder to shoulder physical contact; and the Manager shall issue a letter of apology to the Grievant with copies sent to the Branch President and Plant Manager.
